Further proof of the already huge and still expanding love for scooters downunder is the integration of the first ever "Australian Scooter Festival" into the existing format of the Australian Motorcycle (and PWC) Expo. On the weekend of the 20th -22nd of Feb 2009 the show will be housed in the Gold Coast convention centre. This venue doubles display space on previous years and shows the growth in the Scooter and Motorcycle markets in Australia. If you scooters and/or motorcycles this is an event that is a must visit with exhibits from Honda, Suzuki, Aprilia, Vespa, Yamaha, Sachs, TGB, SCP, Benelli, Gilera, Piaggio, Hyosung, MotoVert and Bug, with more to be confirmed as the event grows closer.The lineup includes entry-level 50cc to luxury 600cc + scooters, and everything in between. The show... as you would expect will also feature test ride facilities and the latest in scooter and motorcycle gadgetry, apparel, merchandise and everything else you would expect from such a huge event.
