| Vespa GTS 300 i.e. ? |

Rumours are rife about the possibility of Piaggio's impending release of a 300cc Quasar powered GTS model. Opinions vary about release date but some recent pictures found online that appear to be a fully badged version seem to confirm release at some stage in the next year or so. Horsepower will be up from 15.7Kw to 22Kw which should give the already grunty GTS an even bigger kick. I am thoughroughly looking forward to riding this newer, bigger Vespa. The current musings are that there will be a 300cc version of the Vespa GTS and a new improved Gillera Runner 300 using the same engine package to upgrade the aging 200cc VXR
Styling cues have changed although not dramatically. These changes appear to include a reworked seat design, newer horn cover and vented rear cowlings. The latter being cause for contention among the faithful.
